Do you have any experience with wow emulation whether it be Skyfire or other, examples of work ect...?

The best thing to do would be to submit a few pull requests, so we can see your code style and experience with the code base.

Also I would recommend that ...

Opcode Tools and Sniffer for 5.4.8

this means that all done in 5.4.7 will be useless because now the team will work on 5.4.8? D:

I think useless is the wrong term, the 5.4.7 core is almost to the point of being playable. If a group of capable developers wanted to turn it into a private server or continue development not too much ...

Opcode Tools and Sniffer for 5.4.8

With the release of 5.4.8 this morning I have updated my opcode tools and sniffer to build 18291.

I will update the IDA function names in the opcode tools and offsets in the sniffer with any coming hotfixes.

Opcode Tools require .NET 4.5.

Sniffer built with VS2013.

[Guide] Opcodes, Packets and Reversing

Why not explain how to find opcodes / packets / structures with IDA Pro & Hex-Rays so that we can help you?

Â

When I meet a developer, he still refuses to teach me reversing. Why the big secret? What interest? Now we have two years behind the official MoP and how to WoD?

There is no big secret ...

MVenomX / Matt501823 (on Arctium's forums) - Assistant Core Developer

Hello from Down Under MattÂ

Â

Do you have any sort of experience with the core? What is your general WoW emulation knowledge like? If I said things terms as DBC or player fields would you know what they are?

I also assume you have experience with MySQL since you did a database fix for Arctium ...

Hello! I am known as Rawaho on the interwebs.

I am a student from New Zealand studying Software Engineering at the Auckland University of Technology.

I only picked up interest in World of Warcraft emulation at the start of MoP; With the expansion almost reaching the final patch I though now would ...
