Do you have any experience with wow emulation whether it be Skyfire or other, examples of work ect...?
The best thing to do would be to submit a few pull requests, so we can see your code style and experience with the code base.

I just built some cores: arcemu, trinity, mangos, skyfire.

Now I am currently debugging an issue on Skyfire 5xx building on ubuntu server 14.04. I have made a pull request with a modification to cmake and that is what makes me want more.
The reason why I post here and I don't start off with pull requests is that I would like some help fixing the error that I mentioned above and also some tips.
